[AMRadio] Starting in AM

Thanks for all the comments so far. Very helpful. Presently have an FT890
and it does work well on AM but seems that it is lacking as an AM receiver.
The full wave audio really appeals to me. Also, I just like the idea of the
smell and heat of the glowing tubes as well as what I perceive is a nicer
audio. No doubt the symptoms of AM fever some of you have been afflicted
with.
