[AMRadio] Anybody for the HBR Receiver?

Something said in the thread of boat anchor receivers reminded me of
the HBR receiver that I once operated at a friend's shack about 35
years ago.

This one had plug in coils for 80, 40, and 20 meters, and I'm pretty
sure also had selectable sideband in addition to AM.

Thinking of that very sensitive, great sounding receiver caused me to
wonder how many different units Ted Crosby created in his HBR series.

I know that he had a four tube receiver published in the first edition
of "How to Become a Radio Amateur in the early 1950s, but the one I
saw was a later model from the early 60s.
