A certain chief engineer I know here in Texas was all "het up" because 6  300pf 
mica caps in parallel in the output section of a transmitter measured 1800pf on 
an analyzer instead of 300...................................

Back in those days they had much more technical ability.  Anyone who 
doubts that has but to go over to QRZ and read their technical forum.  I 
have noticed that not many people ever broach much technical info there.
