I want to thank everyone for their input and advice!  I need to 
check, but I vaguely recall that my Dad replaced all the 
electrolytics in the transmitter a few years before he died (which 
was in 2007). I know for a fact that the LV and HV electrolytics have 
been replaced. I'm not sure what others were replaced, but opening it 
up and looking should make it clear. I don't believe he documented 
their replacement, but told me that he'd done it. I think, but am not 
certain (gotta look) that the and that the selenium rectifiers have 
also been replaced with silicon rectifiers.

I know that WRL tried to put every winding in one transformer, and 
that's not the best idea for long term reliability.  Something to 
work on these winter nights!
