[Alinco] 610TQ Won't Drop Repeater

Hello and thanks for reading.  My 610TQ won't drop the repeater in the =
cross band repeat mode.  I transmit on UHF, my 610 retransmits on 2 =
meters.  The repeater receives o.k. but ending my transmission doesn't =
drop the repeater; the repeater hangs 'open'.  Since I am doing this =
from home I can walk into the next room and turn the 610 off causing the =
repeater to drop but this defeats the purpose of cross band repeater.

Any help at solving this problem would be appreciated.
