We have three major events  tomorrow:

Net starting at 9:30am on 144.200 USB plus I monitor 223.50 FM and
50.125 USB.

At 10.00am the ARRL September VHF Contest begins and runs until 6:59pm
on Sunday.  All bands from 50-Mhz and up; all modes.

Saturday the MARA Hamfest will be held in Big Lake (details: KL7JFU –
Matanuska Amateur Radio Association <http://kl7jfu.com/>) at the Lions
Club 10:00 to 16:00 local time.

So because I expect many of our net participants will be attending the
hamfest I expect low check-ins for the net or the contest on Saturday.

I had made plans on Sunday to drive to Diamond Ridge above homer in grid
BO49 to operate 144/432/1296 band as a portable station - but weather
forecasts heavy rain and high winds (gusts to over 40mph) which will
make for a nasty day and probably poor propagation. Therefore, I decided
to scrub the trip and work the contest from home starting about 9am on
Sunday.  I will try to get my 432 and 1296 amplifiers and antennas
tested and functional.

I'll reschedule a trip to Diamond Ridge another weekend (all the antenna
are ready and mounted on a tripod that can ride in the bed of my pickup).

At home:
50.125 USB: 80w into 7-element yagi (horizontal)*
144.200 USB or 146.52 FM: 130w into 11-dBi gain vertical
223.50FM: 150w into two 11-element yagis
432.200 USB or 446.00FM 65w into 13 dBi gain vertical
plus if the test well:
432.200 USB: 100w into 18-element yagi*
1296.100 USB or 1294.50FM: 50w into 45-element loop-yagi*
*external preamps

I can also do D-Star on 144, 432, and 1296 bands
coordination on 146.52FM
