[ADXA] some history from the ‘60’s

I remember those two well, but I was mainly trying to mention people who
were DX chasers and had some involvement in ADXA.   I remember Al and his
HW-12.  He was on SSB a lot.  I don’t remember ever working him on CW but
he probably had something besides the Hot Water 12 that would do CW.  Of
course, Jimmy has done it all in his distinguished ham career so far.

And Nick Kennedy, WA5BDU, was a regular on OZK and the CW bands and is an
ADXA member who is in there chasing ‘em on CW.   WA5IED is now K5XH - I
keep recalling ones I omitted.  It is surprising how many current ADXA
members are ones I used to ragchew with on 80 and 75 meters back in the
60’s and 70’s.
