ARRL gets accused a lot for not being "transparent". Looks like they're being very transparent here and we sure haven't seen this level of info from AT&T, StubHub, or the hundred other public companies that got hacked during the same time for huge multi-million-dollar ransoms. The hackers not only got away with their money but your private, personal information they had on file as well!!!
DXCC processing will get back to normal. I'm glad they're being extra cautious before bringing the most popular amateur radio operating award back on line. I can wait and with the exception of a couple of cards we know what our totals are and can brag about them by grabbing an LoTW screen shot.
We seem to forget, or you weren't around years ago, when we waited over six months for Don Search to process a DXCC application (longer if he identified an "I" that wasn't dotted on a card you submitted) after waiting a year for that rare card from a Soviet republic to arrive!

ARRL member bulletin today says they paid a million dollars to the hackers that got into their system. All is back to normal, sort of. I found they cannot process any DXCC applications. They claim not to know when that will be possible in the future. I submitted an application over a month ago and it is still hanging. And, you cannot submit another application until the one on hold is processed. If you are an ARRL member you will have gotten the member bulletin today. I'm kind of surprised they announced the amount of money they paid and the fact that the insurance company covered at least part of it. I think will only encourage further hacking. My two cents.
