A choke may be a good idea on most coax-fed antennas.
I am using 6 or 7 turns around 2.25 or 2.5" thick-wall PVC
at the feedpoint of my 6m Delta loop and it tunes across
the entire 6m band ... and for that matter across everything
from 160-10m!
