If you're only running two radials, you might indeed need a coax choke.
Just that a ground plane should have 4 radials. I'm running 2 of those 1/4-
wave ground-planes on my split-site 6m repeater with good results. But your
SWR will be off it it's tuned for 52.52 and you're down at 50.400. Maybe as
bad as 3:1 I know, I have built a 6m j-pole a few years ago and it's great at
52.52, where I tuned it up, but it is 3:1 at 50.125 (and that's with a current loop).
Just my opinion. :-)
