[50mhz] Advice in CM87 Grid.

  Hello fellow 6ers,
                            Just put together a 6m Ground Plane with 2 Radials(everything 1/4 wave) with the Trimmin's cut for the Voice Segment of the Band. Would like to Operate on the A.M. (.400) of the Band, but am willing to wait for some advice on whether or not to use a Choke(Coax) if I need 1 to keep from frying my Radio.
                              My true love is C.W., QRP Morse Code, but also have a Radio with 6m VHF Voice.
                              Also have everything for the "Simple Sixer" from the QST Archives, but nothing is mentioned about a Coaxial Choke or Balun. Just a direct Connection. Should I be concerned about a mismatch, or go for the QST "Simple Sixer:"?
