TS-600 is a great all mode transceiver for 6 meters. Still have and use
mine. Put a 3SK-48 in the 1st RF amplifier and you have gobs of gain. I
have a late model TS-600 and the squelch only works on FM. Analog dial
and adjustable RF output from 0 to about 12 watts. Rig covers 50.0 to 54
MHz. There was no similar "follow-up" model to the 600. As a plus, it has
real parts (resistors, capacitors, semiconductors, etc.) that you can
identify, read the markings, and replace if necessary.
