[50mhz] my noises

Wireles routers can be a headache..!

I live in an apartment & at least one of my neighbors has one &
causes background noise in 2 meter communications (I don't use 6M in
my apartment due to "no outdoor antenna" issues as building owner
doesn't want anything poking through his roof.).

I get by with 2m & 70cm with a stealth antenna (Usually only late
evenings to minimize TVI issues.), several times I have keyed the 6M
in my truck & set florescent parking lot lights to flickering during
the daytime hours as I drive through the parking lot.. I usually
drive to a nearby city park for local 6M activity when the band is
open, as that is pretty far from power lines & other interference
found in the city..

My best luck in SSB has been toward 50.165 (a bit lower & upward of
.165), as luck would have it, the Majic Band was dead in EL29 during
Field Day last June.. Neither club I belong to had much luck in 6M &
we were doing good to hit other local stations with a M2 HO Loop at
about 75 ft. above ground level ( www.w5eco.org )..
