[50mhz] my noises

Some of the noises may well be outside -- but your beam actually has a
directivity preference close-in -- inside the house! Mine does. Don't
discount that possibility.

If the peak on the noise is about as sharp as a distant signal would be,
though -- then you're probably right. Then you have to go hunting -- or put
up with it. Kinda depends on how bad it is. At my previous QTH, I lived next
to a small horse corral that was bounded by an electric perimeter fence.
During certain weather conditions, that sucker would arc and spark like you
wouldn't believe. I solved that problem by moving.  ;-)
