[50mhz] New Repeater ?

I agree that there should be more activity on 6 and i agree with having
remote bases on local repeaters. If properly
setup, they work well and don't interfere. There are a couple in the state
here, and they can be turned on and off via
dtmf commands.

I live in a small rural community with only a half dozen active hams, and
the 6m outside contacts are welcome here.
Just wish the band would be open more often.

I've worked several people on 6 who were sitting in their backyard using a
HT on 440 MHz.
