[50mhz] ready to get my feet wet

My first 6m rig was an Icom IC-551 ($300) which only put out 10W.  I was
able to get FN grids with it from here in CM88 using an indoor dipole
when the band opened up.
I had a lot of fun with that rig.  I now have an IC-706MkIIG on the same
dipole.
After I buy my house (I'm renting now) I'll put up a 3-element beam.

Yes, the contest this weekend was a real blast.  I was a rover with 6,
2, and 432.
Too bad I slept through the 6m opening. :(
