Sure!!! A lot of us get on 6 with only 10 watts.....I still have my TS680...though it does 20-25W PEP
on 6 now.....I have a friend who owns the Hi Power version of the DX70 and he loves it...
You can also find other 6mtr gear on EBAY (I think I have seen a TS660 on there lately)...
or buy a Ranger DX5054.....for less than $300....(but then you DO get more with the DX70!)
Amps for 6 are easy to find (OR build!)......and a simple halo or turnstile on 6 will get you
going for omni horiz use...its a FUN band to play with and build on...not quite HF but still low enough not to be VHF! :)
