Hello Buzz,

Welcome to the "real world" of VHF where you actually interact with 
nature (instead of repeaters) to make contacts.  I suggest looking at 
the IC706Mark II-G.  You can find these used for approximately the same 
price.  You will definitely want the 100 watts on 6m.  Another option is 
to find a used IC746 - then you would have 100 watts also on 2m.  GL and
