Absolutely! I run with only 5 watts with a Halo antenna and have 22 states and
15 countries on six meters. If I had a beam, my results would be much better.
What it takes is PATIENCE. The band usually sounds dead (which it it most of
the time); however, the excitment starts when you catch a band opening! Hope
