[1000mp] FT-1000MP MKv Field odd problem

Hi Steve,
 
             I had exactly the same problem with a FT1000MP MKIV. After going through all of the normal checks with the tuning switches on the ring and making sure that the display invertor wires were positioned right, the rig would suddenly start tuning down in frequency all by itself. I gave up in the end and sent it back to Yaesu UK and after a lot of investigation, they found it to be a small voltage regulator which is located on the drop down front panel PCB.
