[1000mp] PSK31 and EASY-SET problems

Hi All,

I think I now understand why my FT-1000MP (original) EASY-SET option dosen't 
work for PSK31 USB.

I've discovered that EASY-SET options are different between early and later 
versions of the
"original" FT-1000MP and also the Mk V.

The EASY-SET option for PKT (SSTV), among other things, adjusts the transmit 
& receive
carrier frequencies.
On later releases of the "original" and the Mk.V, it allows 2 adjustment
ranges. One covers LSB, the other covers USB. See Table 2 page 98 of those
Manuals.

On my 1996  "early original" FT-1000MP, very unfortunately for me, it only
allows one adjustment range, designed for LSB only, again confirmed by my 
Table 2 page 98.

Does anyone know a way around this, otherwise it seems to be unresolvable 
for me :-((

The on-line instructions for use of Easy-Set  for PSK31 USB that I've seen, 
obviously refers to later versions of the "original" FT and Mk.V. Maybe it 
needs to be revised?
