Milt..I think you may be right about the K-3..It could be the best buy on the market right now..if you look at the spec. much better than the new ones..it may not have the prettiest face but the radio is a great buy.. The roofing filter really helps the MP..This is a must have for a filters. I'll look for you on the bands when you get there..Bob
