[1000mp] possible 1000MP upgrade

I have had both and like the MP better..just for the 
filter selection...I would not up grade unless you 
want 200 watts output...as far as the new models..
stick with the MP..some of the older radios are better 
than the new ones..after 51 years in this hobby..I say 
the MP is a better radio and the price now is right 
for used ones..just fill it with Inrad filters..my 2 
cents..Bob W5RG
