[1000mp] 1000MP - K3

I have no doubt that the K3 is a very, very good radio, but it isn't a 
"great buy." By the time you add the options necessary to make it 
function like an MP, Mark V or FT-2000, you're looking at a rig that 
costs over $3500. If you load it up with roofing filters, the 
transverter board and the filters necessary to use AM/FM, it's more than 
that.

Do a little math and you'll find that that "great buy" isn't so 
reasonably priced after all.
