[1000mp] possible 1000MP upgrade

Hello Alex,
I have some years of intense contest use of all FT-1000 models, always
with full INRAD filters and optionals inside.
My personal opinion is that the upgrade from the FT-1000MP and/or FT-1000D
to Mark-V or Field is not a good choice. I never found any "real plus" on
the last models. I also like very much to be free in filter selecting,
like on MP; the other models, without a software control, decide the
filters' combo for me.... too bad for my operating feelings!
That's why I still use a FT-1000MP and my old FT-1000D, that I love mostly
on CW (also if it hasn't the "free" filters's choice that I prefer).
I also used the FT-2000 in some contests: I liked it and, probably, it'd be
an interesting candidate for a possible renewal into the shack. Still not
too sure.....

Just my absolutely personal two cents!
