Don't forget to check the 110V AC circuit also. The breaker may be making poor contact, or, one of the connections on the branch circuit may be bad. While you have checked other outlets in the room, they may be on the same branch.
If the lights don't blink while transmitting into a dummy load with full output, then RF may be getting into the power line somehow.
