[1000mp] AL-800H 1500+ amp for sale.

Hi,

I bought this used when I had a QTH with more land and antennas and used it
with a number of rigs including my MkV.  I can't use it now so I'm offering
it for sale to fund other activities.  It's an Ameritron AL-800H 1500+ W
Output Linear Amplifier w/ Dual 3CX800A7 tubes. This amplifier works on 160
through 10 meters and will put out in excess of 1500W CW. It also includes
the internal solid state QSK5PC send/receive switch. I am also including a
custom built sound deadening cabinet which greatly reduces the sound of the
cooling fan. The amp is in excellent conditions and works perfectly except
for one issue that I have not resolved. When transmitting over 1KW on 10m it
tends to blow the protection bulbs on the QSK board. These are easily
replaced. You might want to remove the board and send it to Ameritron. A new
board is $250. New, this is a $3300 value not counting the custom enclosure.
I will sell it for $1950 or best offer. Licensed hams only.  I'm in the San
Francisco Bay Area and it would be good if I didn't have to ship it.
