Hi Tonno..
    Capacitors C4 C5 & C6 do not appear on the circuit diagram or the parts 
list, put they do appear on the PCB drawing. C5 appears to be one of a 
number of bypass capacitors filtering the mains input area. As it is one of 
many doing the same job, I'd guess that the rig will work quite happily 
without it.

Some of you who have the schematics can probably tell how important is the 
capacitor C9005 in MP circuit. It is right where the mains enters and it 
just blew in my rig.

What I did is I joined the neutral and ground in the shack and when I 
connected MP this cap exploded completely. Is this normal? Anyway, once it 
was removed the rig is working again.

Is the cap needed? What is it's purpose? Should I replace it?
