[1000mp] FT1000MP and PK232 FSK connections

Regarding the PK 232, I find that a well modified and tuned PK232 beats
any software program. Simply changing the resistors for 170 Hz shift
and accurately optimizing all the other adjustments produces results.
The added advantage is all the other modes available especially if the
motherboard with Pactor can be fitted. The maildrop program is very
well done. The PK232, modified, was with me on many merchant ships
and proved somewhat better than supplied equipment. NAVTEX was very
valuable since ONLY the requested information can be put in memory
and easily printed. Good hardware is hard to beat regardless of the
number of software offerings when versatility is required. Cliff K7RR
