[1000mp] preference question

Bill, I love my"D"... bought it new in '93 and has only made one trip back
to the factory. I have made the cw and noise blanker mods but would like to
know more about the slow tuning mod. went to their web site but it doesn't
give a whole lot of info. Was this a hard mod to do? Thanks for any tips
