[1000mp] preference question

I really like my MP, but I like my D even more.


Ditto.  I've had many, many rigs and the FT-1000D is still my favorite.  I
installed a Timewave 599ZX DSP unit in it a long time ago and it became the
standard against which I measured newer rigs.  My company handled all the
major lines and I got to "test" them side by side.  I love my FT-1000MP, but
I still give favor my 1000D.   It's too big, too heavy, slow tuning rate,
but it's one great CW rig!
