[1000mp] preference question

Well now here's a question I had not thought of till Jon mentioned the 
599ZX!

Anyone out there that has a FT-1000MP Mk 5 with, or for that matter, 
without the roofing filter and using a Timewave 599-ZX?  Any thoughts? I 
have a 599ZX hiding in the closet, might have to give it a try this weekend?
