Particularly if you do LP contesting.
RTTY - High duty cycle of RTTY requires MkV (and, I presume, the MP and 
the Field) to be throttled back to half power.  1/2 power in a 200W rig 
is 100W; in a 100W rig it's 50W.  3 dB advantage to the MkV.
In some contests the LP Max power is 150W.  1.8 dB advantage over 100W 
rigs.  It's pretty easy to show that, statistically, 1.8 dB can make a 
difference.

Ditto for LP dxing.  The MkV has 3 dB advantage over 100W rigs.
