Not to mention at least 4 dB better IMD specs for the Mark V 
than the Field/MP when the rigs are run at rated power output. 
When the Field/MP is cranked up to 150 watts out, it becomes a 
real trash generator (IMD of only -30 dB vs. better than -40 dB 
for the MK V at 200 Watts output in class AB). 

Put another way, the manufacturer's specs for worst case IMD for 
the BLF-147 in the MK V is < -30 dB.  The manufacturer's specs 
for IMD with the 2SC2879 in the Field is <-24 dB.
