[1000mp] 1000 MP year model differences

I am looking to purchase an additional 1K MP for the contest desk.  There
are four different vintage units I am looking at/investigating.  My question
is:

Is there any significant difference between the units manufactured between
1995 and the end of life of the model in 2000?

Thanks in advance for any insights into what to look for/be aware of in this
6 year time period.
