[1000mp] RE: Mark V resetting while running an amp on 10M

Hi,

This has happened to me as well. Usually I don't have any problems with 
RF in the shack but occasionally (depends on the beam direction) the MP 
resets when using 10m with the amp. It never happened without amp but I 
think this is an issue of the RF level... The audio in the monitor has 
always been a bit "unclean" on 10m.

For me using an RF choke (W2DU - balun) right at the RF output of the 
transceiver was the solution. See

Since then nothing has happened any more and the audio in the monitor 
sound as clean as on the other bands.
