[1000mp] beginner's problem

Go into menu 5-5, 5-6, 5-2 and 5-3 and see if they are turned on or  
off.  It may be that one or more of the filters are missing and you  
could just simply turn off all of them in these 4 menu positions to  
troubleshoot.  Is your MKV new or used?  Did you buy any optional CW  
filters with it?

To access the menu system just push and hold the fast and enter  
buttons, I use my right hand index and pinky.  After you are into the  
menu, use the VRF/Mem channel knob (upper right hand corner) to  
scroll thru the menus.  You would use the main tuning knob to turn on  
or off those menus.
