Likewise with mine. Make sure the center conductor pin is REALLY in the
little hole in the female connector before forcing it home. A little
rotation as you push the two together sometimes helps. Check the other
connectors throughout the radio to get an idea of how far into the female
receptacle the male one must go.
Also check for DC on the two power leads to verify power is available to the
amplifier on the board.
