[1000mp] Monitor roughness

It is a misconception to believe either of the
following are somehow to be expected in a radio's
s-meter performance:

1) S9 = 50uV
2) 1 S-unit = 6dB

While they might be noble "goals" they are mostly
fiction.  Both my TS-940 and my 'MP have much smaller
dB/S-unit - in fact down near S1-S3 it's more like 1-2
dB/S-unit.
