It would be nice to know whether the problems are due to a switching type
power supply that fails to start (failing components?) or the display
itself,
no arc. If the display is failing it probably will reach a point where it
must
be replaced. If it is the power supply, perhaps only a component will have
to be replaced, or the design improved. Sure would be nice to have some
guidance from Yaesu.
