[1000mp] FT1000MP MarkV Noise Blanker

[50Mhz , py2xb]

I have been using my FT1000MP MV FD for over a year. No W8JI's NB modif at
this time. I use the NB setting normally at A13.
I have experimented a strange effect, other the the normal noise inserted by
the NB when strong nearby signals are present. I am wondering if anyone has
the same behavior. Here it is :

A) Just to make the effect more noticeable, changed NB setting to B15
B) Tune to a very strong signal or nearby this signal
C) Feel the NB popping (low frequency annoying noise)
D) Decrease the audio volume to zero or cut it by depressing the main
receiver green RX led
E) Even though  no useful audio signal is present I still hear the low
frequency audio popping from the NB ! It is there all the time regardless
the AF gain

F) If I turn off the NB, pb is gone
G) If I use settings from B1-B10 or A1-A11 pb is gone (or not noticeable)
H) Pb gone when strong signal is well attenuated by VRF, ATT or IPO

Obs : The low frequency NB noise is not loud but it is annoying. I hear it
well with the Heil earphone. With certain earphones I simply don't hear it,
probably due to the audio response. With High Fidelity earphones, I hear it
better (or worse)

I just don't understand how come the NB effect gets to the earphones at a
constant level, regardless the audio volume knob position. Would W8JI's
modif corrects this pb ?
