Makes no difference in my case.  I also noice that it never happens when 
the rig is cold -- in fact, just listening time doesn't count -- I have to 
be transmitting a lot (like CQ-ing in a contest) before it happens.  Once 
it starts, it gets progressively worse.  Originally, it was only noticeable 
on CW, but now I notice it starting to get into phone as well.
