Subject: [1000mp] help! 1000MP (NB) v TS950SD
Hi All.
I have a problem with my FT1000MP...I have two radio shacks 1 in my house,
the other in my shed were my TS950SD is.
I have a electrical substation located around 30m from my main shack,
around 60m from my tower and second shack located next to my tower.
I bought this MP used around 1 week ago it is in mint cond and has inrad
filters installed.
The problem is my FT1000MPmk1 is getting S7 of noise from the substation
with NB off and S5 with it on. :-( If I go out to my second shack and turn
my good old TS950SD on, there is S7 of noise with NB off and S1 with it on.
(BOTH RIGS ARE ON SAME ANTENNA) This is getting very frustrating for me as I
am getting really good reports on tx audio with the MP and i really like
this rig but If the conditions are low I have to go out to the 950SD to here
any signals below S5. I am 100% sure it is a problem with the NB in my
1000mp.
Can any one HELP! ?? Is there any mods to improve the NB in the MPmk1
Regards from Abe a frustrated VKr
