I also find the DSP on my MKV useful on low band CW at times, and on some
weak long path openings. It does sometimes (it works or it does not) make
enough difference to hear the signal just above the noise floor. On CW I
also use the audio filters with great success on weak signals on a noisy
band. I have all filters installed. On SSB I have on occasion made weak
signal contacts the would not have been possible without the DSP, but here
again it works or it does not. It is dependent on the type and severity of
the offending noise, and the signal which you are trying to capture.
