Yes, I agree with this disagree!

The Dsp in the FT-1000MP/MkV is VERY useful for Ssb. DSP will not provide
improved audio or convert a ssb signal to Fm quality ..... nor is it
intended to. Dsp 'removes' content in a signal, not adds. What you remove
depends on the circumstances you have and what settings you use. By removing
energy in a signal or audio path that doesn't contribute to communications
'intelligibility', the listenability is improved. This is more than a signal
to noise ratio improvement. Fatigue is considerable improved by using Dsp on
signals that are not in the clear, and competing with other energy that you
don't want to listen to.
