I can compare the mp and the ts2000 side by side.
Both have a very good receiver, but the mp still is analogue, the 2000 fully
digital DPS IF.
The filters on the 2000 work very fine on digital modes and CW, but on ssb
(voice)
I still prefer the mp a little over the ts2000
If I had to let go one, it would be a very hard choise, both have their own
advantages.
But I agree, real soon the analogue stuff will disapear from the market ...
