[1000mp] MK V Relay problem

Thanks to all that responded to my MK V problem.

The apparent intermittent sticky input relay problem now has got to the =
point that I am unable to unstuck it by fiddling with it. I can hear =
several very strong stations with AF gain turned up to the max. That's =
about all..
I disconnected the MK V cabling and installed a friends FT-1000MP and it =
works perfect with the Alpha 87A. So its not the amp causing any of the =
problems.

I also noticed that the (B) headphone jack has a intermittent problem. =
After pulling out the phono plug, the receiver acts like the audio gain =
is turned off. Upon cycling the AF gain up and down, the receive audio =
suddenly appears again. Strange..........

Not sure if this is a separate problem to the apparent sticky input =
relay problem or just another problem.

Anyway the radio is heading off to Yaesu for repairs.=20

I did manage to worked the VP6DI on a number of bands before the radio =
crapped out.=20
