I've got a 870 too and it already has crystal filters, 3kc.  Its not 
a bad cw rig either.  I'm watching the Orion, I'll wait a couple 
years to see how it pans out.  I doubt you will see much out of 
Kenwood.

Enjoy the MP its a good rig too.  They're all good rigs just whatever you like.
