Should also put some downward pressure on the price of used MP's with
the MKVF at 1999.
Based on the horsepower of the latest DSP chips around, we still seem
about an order of magnitude or two short of something that permanently
eliminates 2nd & 3rd IF crystal filters. Maybe Yaesu is waiting for an
engine big enough to pull the truck. The lukewarm reception to DSP
performance in contests and other overload situations is enough to
make me suspect this, anyway.
