A few weeks ago I reported the failure of my Mark V, main receiver was
dead on all bands as was the transmitter. The sub-receiver worked on a
few bands. The radio was purchased new last December.

I sent the radio to Yaesu 7/9, it was received at 7/12. It was assigned
to a tech (Andy Ormonde) on 7/15. The radio was not then touched until
7/24. I called on 7/24 and talked to a tech who physically walked over
to the bench to inquire about my radio since there had been nothing
placed in the computer on it's repair status. This tech said he would
make sure info was placed in the system on the night of the 24th as the
tech stated he should have it diagnosed that day.

On 7/25 I called and spoke to another CSR who gave me this status from
the system "Filters have been removed from radio. Radio to be replaced
through sales".

I had him read it again and he even emailed me.

Looks like I'm getting a new radio. No reason given.

I'll keep you posted on further developments.
